No carpets

Nain is a town 150 km east of Isfahan in central Iran and is relatively new to the carpet world compared to the old knotting centers like Kashan, Isfahan and Yazd. Although the company initially made carpets from Isfahan, Nain began to develop his own style in the mid-1930s. Due to the high quality of the workshops in the region, very fine and precise designs were created. Fathollah Habibian (1903-1995) ran one of the most famous workshops in Na'in and is widely regarded as the "father of Nain carpets". Along with his brother Mohammed, Fathollah Habibian has been making fine rugs since school days and is responsible for the design and weaving of some of the world's finest Nain rugs.
