Tabriz is particularly well known mahi, which has a very high knot density. The excellent workmanship of a Täbriz carpet and its exceptionally fine pattern make it teppich particularly suitable for the living room!
Persian carpets: Persian carpets are world famous for their quality and beauty. Real Persian carpets are made by hand tied and the Wool colored with natural plant dye. Persian carpets are also characterized by elaborate patterns in floral and geometric shapes. The best-known provenances in which carpets are knotted are: Grandmother (North Wales), Sarouk, Tabriz, Isfahan, Kasan, Bijar and Qom.

Silk necklace: The warp is the base fabric onto which the pile is knotted. The finer the chain, the sharper the pattern of the carpet will be in the end. Only the finest carpets are knotted on silk, as one with silk can create a much tighter and finer chain than with wool. That's why only with real silk in the chain can you achieve knot numbers of 600.000 or more knots per square meter.
Hand-knotted quality: Hand-knotted carpets are true works of art and, depending on the quality, require very good training and a high degree of patience. By knotting by hand, the carpets are significantly finer, smoother and of higher quality than with other methods.
